The championship duels of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy have begun. Last weekend in Genk, Belgium, the starting signal was given for the 2023 season of the international racing series of the Austrian engine manufacturer. 201 pilots from all over the world made their way to the challenging race track in Belgium and, after three action-packed days, crowned the first winners of the year.

BRP-Rotax is proud to announce that the 22nd edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) successfully took place in Portimao, Portugal at the Kartodromo International Algarve (KIA) from November 19 to 26, 2022. With a record number of 394 Rotax racers from more than 60 nations, who earned their ticket during the 2022 season, the event also saw the biggest kart line-up ever in the history of the RMC Grand Finals.

We had a fantastic week here at the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve in Portugal and crowned the champions of the 22nd Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. Thrilling races, packed full of action and passion of our worldwide drivers and it was great to meet the whole Rotax Family, chat with old friends and made new ones.

It is the celebration of the RMC champions and the drivers who qualify from around the world. This will be the biggest Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals to date in the 23-year history of this amazing karting event, which is uniquely LIKE NO OTHER championship in this sport.
It’s the fourth time that the RMCGF returns to Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (previously 2012, 2015 & 2017) and the fifth occasion since Viana do Castelo 2006 in the north, that Portugal has been the host.
